Kimbra is a proud alumna of Delta Delta Delta from Southwestern University. During her collegiate years, she served as Philanthropy Chair- an experience that not only taught her the value of service, but also the importance of leading with compassion, organization, and purpose. Coordinating chapter-wide initiatives and service events ignited a passion for giving back that has shaped her life.
Following graduation, Kimbra remained actively involved with Tri Delta through alumnae leadership, serving first as Vice President and then as President of the Lufkin/Nacogdoches Area Alumnae Chapter. These roles allowed Kimbra to support local chapter members at Stephen F. Austin State University, strengthen alumnae engagement, and continue fostering a sense of connection and community across generations. Kimba's academic path led her to Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned her graduate degree in clinical psychology before beginning her career as a school psychologist. Over the years, Kimbra worked with middle and high school students and their families, helping navigate academic, emotional, and social challenges. This work sharpened her ability to meet young people where they are, understand their stressors and strengths, and guide them as they make important decisions about their futures. This background in psychology continues to influence Kimbra's ability to mentor prospective new sorority members with empathy and understanding.
In addition to Kimbra's professional experience, she also brings the invaluable perspective of being a sorority mom. As a parent of three college-aged daughters, Kimbra has lived through the recruitment process from the mom side- celebrating the excitement, managing the nerves, and helping prepare for a positive, authentic experience. She has also supported other young women outside of her own family through sorority recruitment, offering encouragement, insight, and reassurance. With firsthand experience, Kimbra understands how to help guide girls throughout the entire recruitment journey, empowering them to approach the process with clarity and confidence.
Kimbra loves to travel, volunteer, and spend time with her family and friends. Kimbra is excited to bring her unique gifts to the Texas girls going through sorority recruitment. She hopes to help every girl feel confident, prepared, and polished.
